The Malish Home is a boutique interior decorating business where we offer services for projects both big and small ranging from space planning and room makeovers to consultation on design selections for the New Build process. After going through the New Build process herself and sharing her experience on social media, our founder, Whitney Malish, observed an eagerness to learn from her social media followers.
The Malish Home was created in response to the demand Whitney was getting to share her learnings with her social media following at a larger scale, and her goal is to have a wide array of offerings to help remove the anxiety from curating a home that is both functional and beautiful. Here you will find ways to elevate your home through our services, as well as, inspiration to create beauty in the mundane on social media channels.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Whitney Malish
Whitney was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, and moved to Madison, WI after obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Louisiana State University and Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame. While her background is a less traditional path for Interior Decorating, she has always had a passion for curating beautiful spaces from a young age. At a young age, you could find young Whitney rearranging and decorating her friends’ rooms. In adulthood, you can find Whitney giving advice to her loved ones and followers on Instagram to curate a home they love. Whitney is committed to creating beautiful and functional spaces that make her clients see the beauty in everyday little moments. Her background in engineering makes her pay attention to all the small details while her entrepreneurial spirit has her welcome each project with passion and a can-do attitude.
